I definitely would love to explore Kelzern, Trazar, and Volthorn's background a little more, maybe in a short story or something. They've been in a lot of scrapes and tight spots over the years.

"I am intrigued by the different colors of the stones and gems used by terramancers. I always knew that color has power, but these masters take color to a whole new level. Please remind me how these stones obtain their incredible charge and how that power can be renewed once depleted.
"Another incredible power, not perceived by the natural eye, is the drive within Elandrians to preserve their country. Fighting in pouring rain? Every general and officer rushing to the defense? Receiving sore wounds to the body and still able to fight on? These soldiers care! Their hearts must be true Elandrian green!"
"The terramancy gems are charged by bringing them to a leyline---either a leyline beacon (like a geyser of magical energy; we saw one briefly in Imperium)---or a leyline current (like aurora borealis that sweep over the landscape at unpredictable intervals.
"Gems, stone, and metal can all hold terracharge, but stone and metal leak it quickly while gems can store the energy for several weeks or even months (unless depleted through use.)"
Whoa! A terramancer charge and a terracharge!? Way to increase the gravity of the situation!
(So that's why sometimes, when I'm watching a battle scene, suddenly everything starts moving in slow motion. All this time I thought it was just dramatic effect!)
Impressive that Volthorn and his brothers can hear each other well enough in the clamor to be able to joke around. (I would shout till I'm hoarse!)
I was going to say the brothers also have incredible abilities of finding calm in battle - how else could you pull off the left and right joke?

Yeah, I'm sure if you had to shout so much in a battle, it would run you ragged.
